Walking Ware teapot. This particular pot was made
at Lustre Pottery by Roger Michell in 1988 and decorated by
Danka Napiorkowska They had originally designed the Walking Ware
range and subsequently marketed items from the range famously through Carltonware
in the 1970s and early 1980s. The example shown was one of a small number
made after Carltonware had closed their Pottery, and has the advantage
of being a handmade Lustre Pottery studio example and with the variant
sock decoration - green shoes with black star socks.
Another similar example but with black shoes and purple circle socks is also
available. Glaze crazing on both examples. Price £67.50 each
which includes insured p&p. in the U.K. Both
