Walking Ware teapot
. This particular pot was made at Lustre Pottery by Roger Michell in 1988 and decorated by Danka Napiorkowska They had originally designed the Walking Ware range and subsequently marketed items from the range famously through Carltonware in the 1970s and early 1980s. The example shown was one of a small number made after Carltonware had closed their Pottery, and has the advantage of being a handmade Lustre Pottery studio example and with the variant sock decoration - green shoes with black star socks.
Another similar example but with black shoes and purple circle socks is also available. Glaze crazing on both examples. Price £67.50 each which includes insured p&p. in the U.K. Both Sold
