Scarce Wilemans (later became Shelley) Intarsio Tea Pot of squat form and modelled as Joseph Chamberlain and designed by Frederick Rhead.. (cf. Novelty Teapots - Five Hundred Years of Art and Design by Edward Bramah - Quiller Press 1992 page 49).
Hand painted in colours. Wilemans' printed mark, "The Foley", "Intarsio" and registered design No.363131 to base. Printed mark to inner lid " 3356" 5 inches high. .Circa 1900. Price - £700. Sold
